Sports Nutrition for Swimming Performance — Pacific Masters Coaches Clinic
Saturday, November 7, 2015 — 10:05 - 11:00 AM
Lafayette Library, 3491 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Lafayette, CA;
This may be restricted to USMaster Swimmer members or to coaches; please contact Stu Kahn, DAM Head Coach,

Sunny presents informative, practical information on just what to eat to energize your training and fuel your swimming, as well as how to promote healthy nutrition in a busy athlete's lifestyle. In addition to explaining how nutrients work in the body and different energy systems, she will be covering fueling around meets, distance swims, Pre-and Post-Exercise meals and snacks, and include handouts with specific suggestions for real food and sports nutrition products. She has a humorous way of explaining timing and destination of nutrients (muscle cells vs. fat cells!), so come learn what you can do for yourself and your team to increase your performance.
